Position Summary BNA is currently accepting applications for the full-time temporary position of Community Energy Champion. The Community Energy Champion will be responsible for developing the Community Energy Plan, which includes completing all field work, community engagement and research required for the plan. Once the Community Energy Plan is complete, the CEC will monitor conservation activities, work with individual home owners on conservation and energy options, work with the Sawmill and other industries on-reserve for proper energy usage, and be involved with other BNA energy projects as required.

11. They must be prepared to work in the rain, cold, snow and wind as required. Wages will be negotiated commensurate with experience. The position is based at BNA's main office located in Thunder Bay with some out of town travel.
An undergraduate degree in a relevant field (e.g. engineering, environment science/studies, business administration).
Holding the title of Certified Energy Manager (CEM) is considered an asset, along with 2 - 5 years of relevant work experience.
Knowledge of legislation, regulations, policies and procedures for the environmental/energy/ construction sector.
An understanding of BNA's economic, cultural and political environment.
