PATRICIA REGION SENIOR SERVICES INC. As scheduled responsible for the delivery of home and yard maintenance service at the clients principal residence and grounds. Provide apartment and building maintenance at Patricia Gardens. Responsible to Supervisor for scheduled work assignments.

 1. Follow all policies and directives and obtain clarification when necessary. 2. Know how and when to make decisions independently and when to seek direction from the Supervisor. 3. Ensure that preventative safety measures are taken at all times, as per agency policy. 4. Remind the client to provide required supplies and equipment. 6. Obtain and follow the work schedule as prepared by the Supervisor or designate. 8. Observe and report any necessary information about the client and/or family situation, in particular any changes that may lead to alteration of the service plan. 9. Complete regular reports on clients at the request of the Supervisor.
 QUALIFICATIONS 1. Ability to communicate effectively in English  both verbally and in written form. 2. Must complete a Criminal Reference Check 3. Valid Ontario Drivers License and use of a vehicle that can tow a small trailer. 4. Previous related work experience, preferably with the elderly or the handicapped. 5. Physically able to meet the job requirements, and ensure that all duties are carried out in accordance with the organizations policies and procedures. 6. Ability to follow instructions both written and verbal while performing home, yard, grounds, apartment and building maintenance duties. 7. Ability to set priorities in routine situations. With direct supervision and support, ability to provide support/assistance to contractors working on site in client residence or Patricia Gardens. 10. Ability to provide day-to-day, and possibly weekend support. 11. Respect client confidentiality. 12. Responsible for meeting training needs as directed, including Health and Safety and WHIMS or other training as required. 13. Other duties as assigned.
  Term: June - September 30 2019 with a possible extension Hours  Hours will vary (approximately 20 hrs a week) Wage- $19.19/hr
