The Company Treasury Metals Inc is an exploration and mining company currently in the process the moving their flagship property, the Goliath Gold Project, through the development process. In the late stages of the permitting process the Goliath Gold Project has the potential to be Canada's newest Gold mine. Treasury is also in the late stages in the acquisition of the neighbouring Goldlund Gold Project and will be investigating efficiencies such that the two Projects will complement each other throughout the mining life. The Goliath Project is located proximal to beautiful city of Dryden, a well-appointed community with all the amenities for raising a family and outdoors person's heaven with fishing, hiking, biking and skiing at its doorstep.

The Opportunity We are currently searching for an Environmental and Field Technician to help expand our growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the management and development of the environmental program in support of the Goliath Gold Project and Goldlund Project. Further the role will entail supporting the geological needs of both assets based on the needs at the time. This position is junior in nature will support senior technical staff in the continued development and establishment of regulatory and sustainability programs in the development of both assets. The position will require the candidate to conduct themselves in dialogue with regulatory agencies in both federal, and provincial capacities in addition to providing support to Indigenous and stakeholder discussions. Lastly, this role will entail considerable field-based activities in all weather conditions supervising, conducting, and supporting in-house and third party work programmes

Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate commitment to safety and excellence;
- Work and communicate within the team environment towards well-defined objectives;
- Complete field sampling programs and ensure all environmental sampling protocols are observed and reported on a timely basis;
- Work with site operational team to ensure environmental performance meets or exceeds protocols;
- Advocate company performance internally as well as our stakeholders, as required;
- Aid in the completion of mine permitting where applicable; and
- Ability to assume the responsibilities of the Environmental and Community Manager.
- High level written and verbal skills
- Strong working knowledge of environmental, and wildlife management practices and requirements
- ArcGIS, AutoCAD and environmental data management software experience an asset
- High aptitude with MS office software package an asset
- Ability to assist, assign and manage employees, contractors, and consultants
- Ability to work independently
- Physically capable of conducting manual labor (including up to 50 lbs)
- Critical and objective problem solving is a must
- Strong time management is a must
Education and Experience
- Technical degree in environmental or related field an asset;
-Previous experience conducting work within a field-based environment; and
- Experience in a mining or industrial environment will be highly regarded
