 Online Birth Certificate Application

The Office of the Registrar General guarantees that you will receive your birth certificate within 15 days of completing the online application. NOTE: Proof-of-identity (i.e. Birth Certificate) is required in order to apply for a Social Insurance Number, which is required to legally work in Canada.

Employment Insurance

EI provides temporary financial assistance for unemployed Canadians while they look for work or upgrade their skills. Canadians who are sick, pregnant or caring for a newborn or adopted child, as well as those who must care for a family member who is seriously ill with a significant risk of death, may also be assisted by Employment Insurance.
