Duties:
 Reporting to the Manager of ISS, the Life Skills Trainer travels throughout the District of Kenora to provide life skills, employment readiness, and safety compliance training for KDSB clients. Key responsibilities include setting up and providing training sessions, planning, coordinating, and promoting integrated training forums, providing statistical data to support training needs, and investigating alternative training methods and partnerships for training opportunities
Qualifications:
 Qualifications will include: ï‚· Successful completion of a post-secondary education program in Social Services, Employment Services, Training, or similar and three years’ experience in social services with emphasis on training delivery. Alternatively, a combination of education and/or experience is required. ï‚· A Standard First Aid and CPR Trainer Certification (or the ability to obtain such certification) ï‚· A satisfactory Criminal Background Check with vulnerable sector screening ï‚· A valid Ontario Class G (or equivalent) driver’s license
