Northern Policy Institute (NPI) is seeking one (1) full-time Summer Marketing Placement - Graphic Designer for a 16 week placement with a host organization in Parry Sound. While individuals with particular expertise are most welcome, an interdisciplinary approach and the capacity to work across platforms and functions is expected and required.

The placement will focus on graphic design work including creation of graphics and video for social media and web as well as the layout of internal and external publications. The successful candidate will work as a part of the communications and marketing team to design, produce and disseminate NPI publications, marketing and events materials and other promotional items.
- Experience with social media would be a decided asset.
- Experience working with Adobe InDesign and other Creative Cloud programs is critical to the nature of the placement.
- Bilingualism would be an advantage. Multilingualism, or a special knowledge of Northern Ontario would also be assets.
- University or college students with some practical experience are preferred.
