Duties:
 The primary responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:
- Designing, building, maintaining and improving machines and tools within the plant facility
- Lead process improvements for safety, quality, reliability, cost and moral
- Data Driven with attention to detail, Familiar with Safety Critical Process Requirements, Capability and Repeatability
- Review actual process measurements from Quality for Process Capability and change process parameters to meet quality expectations, ensure repeatable results
- Maintain ongoing process control through data review, daily scrap review, root cause analysis and develop corrective actions
- Prepare technical documentation, process instructions for line technicians,
- Develop process parameters for new customer product on new and existing processes to ensure quality and efficiency targets.
- Open, Honest Communication, timely feedback, self sufficient
Qualifications:
- College Diploma or University degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- Minimum 4 years' experience in an automotive manufacturing environment and TS16949 awareness and adherence
- Demonstrated experience in manufacturing equipment installation and maintenance
- Experience with Robot applications ABB, Fanuc, CNC milling process and PLC logic
- Knowledge of PLC Programming Allen Bradley , Siemens
- Experience in Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Electrical Circuits
- Familiar with the OH&S Act and Regulations and PSHSR
- Experience with measurement systems and hands-on use of gauges and fixtures
- Proficiency in engineering software (AutoCAD, Solid Works, Minitab, Visio, MS Office)
- Experience/Understanding of CO2 Laser Score Process, able to correct ABB robot path.
