-Has a general understanding of automotive systems
-Preparing and writing work orders by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required; obtaining approval signatures, and entering the WO into service database system
-Scheduling appointments, answers phones and collects funds for services performed
-Assists with the coordination of alternate transportation, rental car reservations, loaner vehicles, etc
-Consults with mechanics about necessary repairs and possible alternatives
-Advise customers about warranty protections and potential cost savings
-Manage and oversee the service departments workflow and scheduling
-Call customers to inform them of changes in service or to let them know their vehicle is ready for pick-up
-Develops estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor, calculating customers payment, including deductible.
-Ability to greet customers, establish rapport, determine and attend to customers needs
-Ability to match customers needs with appropriate parts or services
-Must communicate clearly in person and on the phone and must be willing to initiate calls to customers to give and receive information
-Must be alert to sales opportunities by taking the time to ask customers questions and provide information about parts and services.
-Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings
-Requires a genuine concern about customer enthusiasm, as evidenced by consistent follow-through with customers
-Sees customers complaints as opportunities to create customer satisfaction
-Driven to make the customer feel valued -Ability to advise and educate customers in a way they can understand
-Maintaining clean and professional appearance of the service counter, work area, and service department
-Process payroll on a bi-monthly basis (as needed)
-Tracking and submitting warranty claims (as needed)
-Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
-Training will be provided
 DIRECTION RECEIVED / INDEPENDENT ACTION Direction will come from the Service Manager (at times from Shareholders) Performance is monitored by the Service Manager (at times from Shareholders) Independent action, which will not necessarily come as direction from the Service Manager but is a must during downtime to utilize any potential training opportunities, customer rapport building / gathering functions (i.e. making phones calls, sending follow-up emails, etc.), and/or organizing the counters, service bay area and counter, etc.
