- ARBORIST APPRENTICE (2 Positions)
This position is for those with an interest in entering the arboriculture trade, but with yet no experience in the field. While past arboriculture experience is welcomed, it is not necessary for this position. Our apprentices will need to show an interest in trees, working at heights, working outdoors (in all conditions), physically challenging work, and personal/professional growth. Supplemental winter training through Humber College is an option for our apprentices during the winter months and is encouraged along with self-guided learning. Valid G-class license required (D-class preferred). (Compensation starting at $16.50/hour)

Rutter Urban Forestry is looking for one hardworking individual with a positive attitude and a keen interest in arboriculture operations. This individual will need to show an interest in working outdoors (in all conditions), physically challenging work, and on the job learning. Common duties include, raking/clean-up of job sites, assisting arborists with running ropes, chainsaw use (training provided), lifting/moving wood pieces, and stump grinding. A strong aptitude and willingness to learn can lead to a future Arborist Apprenticeship opportunity. Valid G-class license required. (Compensation starting at $16.00/hour)
