Duties:

 

Primary Responsibilities

Reporting to the Executive Director, provides overall leadership to the Health Programs delivered by the Shibogama First Nations Council.  Works directly with community-based Leadership and Health Managers to support health programs. Represents and advocates at various levels of government on behalf of member communities regarding health-related matters. Works collaboratively with other Health organizations to improve Health outcomes for the members of the Shibogama communities.   

Qualifications:

 

Essential Qualifications

Ability to communicate effectively in local Oji-Cree dialect,

An appreciation for First Nations Culture and Traditions,

Experience working in First Nation community-based programs,

Experience leading people,

Strong oral and written communication skills,

Good working knowledge of computers, current software applications and e-mail systems,
