Ramp and/or Line Service Agents work under the direction of the Ramp Manager and/or other Management and/or Ramp Supervisors to ensure all aspects of aircraft handling are completed according to specific company policies & procedures. Safety, attention to detail, following company procedures, and team work are key components to be a successful ramp agent.

 Trades, Transport, and Equipment
  • Sort, load, unload baggage and cargo from flights.
  •  Service lavatories and potable water per company standards.
  •  Connect, disconnect ground power/bridge power from Aircraft.
  •  Marshall aircraft to and from gate, parking stands.
  •  Wing walk arrivals and departures.
  •  Operate belt loaders, baggage tractors and carts.
  •  Complete daily inspection of operating equipment.
  •  Complete equipment deficiency reports as required.
  •  Perform de-icing operations (if certified).
  •  Snow removal, equipment cleaning, housekeeping as required.
  •  Attend all required training sessions and successfully complete training courses.
  •  Actively participate in company safety programs.
  •  Work as a team member in a safe, efficient, professional manner.
  •  Adhere to published uniform standards and requirements.
  •  Follow all safety guidelines and safe workplace procedures.
  •  Take direction from ramp leads, ramp manager, station manager and owner.
  •  Other duties as assigned by management.
  • Must be able to apply and secure an Airport Restricted Area Pass (RAIC).
  • Must have valid driver’s license with clean abstract.
  •  Must be fully vaccinated against the COVID19 virus.
  •  Ability to speak, write and understand the English language.
  • Previous airline and/or freight handling experience would be an asset.
  • Must have excellent team player competencies
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision, and/or in a team environment working varied and/or split shifts.
  • Must be willing to adapt to the changing nature of aviation.
  • Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • $85.00 per year Protective Footwear Allowance.
  • PPE required is provided to employee.
  •  50/50 Cost Share on Winter & Rain Gear.
  •  50/50 Cost Share on Pants & Shorts.
  •  50/505 Cost Share on all other Uniform Pieces (Hoodies, T-Shirts, etc).
  •  Paid Training.
  •  Access to staff travel benefits (if available).
  •  RAIC Security Fee Deposit Required ($100.00).
