The Sales Representative is responsible for ensuring that Wasaya Airways LP customers receive service that is friendly, reliable and efficient and to provide guidance for our front-line services. The Sales Representative will prospect new accounts to expand Wasaya’s customer base. The Sales Representative will be responsible for the overall ownership and accountability of the day-to-day relationship with their designated client(s).

Duties:
 
  1. Assist with the prospecting of new opportunities for Passenger, Charter and Cargo Clients
  2. Prepare customer quotes and book charters
  3. Follow up with customers regarding quotes and bookings as required
  4. Arrange and attend meetings with various organizations, clients and potential clients
  5. Work very closely and collaborate with relevant departments and employees, in regard to charters
  6. Offer exceptional customer service and ensure that customer needs are met at all times
  7. Maintain accurate records of sales and customer service information within the client databases as required
  8. Provide clerical and administrative assistance to Charter Sales staff as necessary
  9. Work closely with the Marketing department for promotions and sales
  10. Maintain and keep up to date files on aviation regulations
  11. Participate in corporate marketing activities, such as conferences, home and trade shows and open house events as required
  12. Use of Amelia reservation system program to:
  • Assist in the preparation of customized itineraries to suit the client’s needs and budget
  • Strive to obtain the best route possible to help customers stretch their travel dollars
  • Provide group discounts on airfare, hotels, and ground transportation
  1. Meet and exceed sales revenue targets for new business and renewals
  2. Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the account base
  3. Build strong relationships with key decision makers throughout all departments of the client
  4. Be able to complete sales cycles including the preparation of proposals, sales presentations, and service delivery
  5. Provide detailed account information on both prospects and customers by using CRM tools and managing a sales pipeline for accurate forecasting of revenue
  6. Establish and maintain regular contact with corporate clients and government agencies and other business partners regarding air services while ensuring professional quality customer service
  7. Perform and uphold Wasaya’s Customer Care Commitments to both internal and external customers
  8. Any other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
 

Education/Experience:

  • Possess a minimum of a High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of previous sales experience or an equivalent combination of related post-secondary education and experience

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
