Duties:

 Duties may include but are not limited to:

- Assist in maintaining a safe, clean and positive client environment

-Accompany person to plan and prepare healthy meals

- Be respectful of and contribute to the well being of the client

- Maintain a high level of confidentiality standards

Qualifications:

 -Completion of an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (preference will be given to an individual who has a post secondary education in Social Worker or with relevant experience)

- 1 to 2 years of experience working as a companion aide an asset

- Valid drivers licence and access to a vehicle (preferred)

- Ability to communicate sensitively and effectively

- Patient

- Punctual

- Ability to build good relationship within the community

- Non judgemental
